Our story
We started in the bay, not in a boardroom
Top Gun Solutions was built by people who had to make a real business work before they ever sold marketing to anyone. That is still the only qualification we care about.
Every business we have ever worked with has had the same quiet moment. The owner is good at the thing they do — the repair, the treatment, the trade, the product. They are excellent at it. And somewhere along the way it stopped being enough, because being good at the work and being found by the people who need it are two completely different skills.
That gap is where we live. We came out of automotive, where the gap is brutal and obvious: a shop can have the best technicians in the county and still have empty bays on a Tuesday because the listing is wrong, the phone goes to voicemail, and nobody has spoken to last year’s customers since last year.
We started fixing that for shops. Then a clinic asked. Then a contractor, then a retailer, then a startup that needed the software more than the marketing. The industries changed and the problems did not, so we stopped pretending we were only an automotive company.
Top Gun Solutions is a marketing and software company. We get you found, and we build the system that catches what comes in.
How we got here
Automotive first, everything after
- Where it started
In automotive
Repair shops are a hard business. Margins are thin, good technicians are scarce, and the marketing advice on offer is usually written by someone who has never stood in a bay. We started by fixing that for shops — the marketing, and then the systems underneath it.
- What we learned
The problem was never the industry
Clinics, trades, retailers and service businesses kept describing the same problems in different vocabulary: nobody local knows we exist, the leads we get go cold, and the tools we pay for do not talk to each other.
- Where we are now
A marketing and software company
Today Top Gun runs marketing for businesses of every kind and builds the software behind them — web apps, mobile apps, internal tools and integrations. Same team, same standard, whether you fix cars or see patients.
What we believe
The rules we actually run on
Not values on a wall. These are the four things we say no to work over.
- 01
Do the work properly or do not take the money
There is a version of this business where you post three graphics a month, send a screenshot of a chart and keep invoicing. We are not interested in it. If we cannot move something real for you, we would rather tell you on the first call.
- 02
Say the number out loud
Prices are published. Scope is written down before anything starts. If a project is going to cost more than you expected, you hear it from us early, not in an invoice at the end.
- 03
Marketing without systems is a leak
Sending more leads into a business that does not answer the phone, does not follow up and does not know what a customer is worth just makes the leak bigger. We fix the plumbing before we turn up the tap.
- 04
Own what you recommend
We build and run our own products, so when we recommend a platform, a process or a build, it is usually something we have already lived with ourselves — including the parts that were painful.
Come and tell us the honest version
No pitch deck. Tell us what is actually going on in the business and we will tell you what we would do about it.
