Workshops and training

Be taught the playbook we get paid to run

Two things are taught here. The marketing system Top Gun runs for clients at $5,000 a month — offers, campaigns, conversion and follow-up — handed over live, self-paced or built with your team in the room. And a 60-day programme that builds you a marketing or software company from nothing. Taught by the operator who runs both, not a coach who reads about them.

The next workshop date is published here as soon as it is set. Seats are bought online on this page. Top Gun Online Course needs no date: you start the day you buy.

Workshop overview

Training overview — what is taught and how

A short walkthrough: the curriculum, the three ways it is taught, and who each one is built for.
  • Format

    Three ways to be taught

The live and in-person sessions are taught in real time, not played from a recording. The formats in the catalogue below each state how they are taught, including one worked at your own pace.

  • Built for

    US owner-operators

The offers, ad angles and scripts are the ones Top Gun runs for its own five client trades in the US market, not generic examples.

  • Level

    From nothing to multi-location

The 60-day programme starts a company from scratch. The niche workshops are for a business already trading, from a single location up to a group.

  • Approach

    Execution over theory

Playbooks run for paying clients at $5,000 a month, taught by the operator who runs them — not frameworks built in a classroom.

Who it's for

Built for owners, not for managers of theory

If you sign the payroll and the lease, this is aimed at you — in any of the five trades the curriculum is taught in, from a single location up to a group. Starting from scratch instead? The 60-day founder programme below is the one written for you.

You work in

  • Auto repair
  • Contracting
  • Commercial contracts
  • Dealership
  • Collision repair

And you want

  • Predictable enquiries instead of good months and bad months
  • An offer that fills the schedule without discounting the work
  • More of the enquiries you already pay for turning into booked jobs
  • Follow-up that recovers the quotes nobody chased
  • Numbers you can read weekly instead of a feeling about the month
  • A marketing operation your team runs without you in it

The wall

Why the marketing stalls

Almost every owner-operated business hits the same three walls, and almost every owner reaches for the same answer: spend more.

Marketing happens when there is time

The ads get set up in a quiet week and abandoned in a busy one, so spend and enquiries swing with how full the schedule already is — which is the opposite of what marketing is for.

The leads arrive and then sit

Money goes into generating an enquiry and nothing is built to answer it fast, quote it properly or chase it twice. The work was bought and then dropped.

Nobody can say what works

Without a baseline and a weekly number, every decision is a guess about which channel to blame — so the budget moves around instead of compounding.

“The problem is rarely the ad budget. It is that there is no system between the enquiry and the invoice.”

The playbook

Three pillars, and everything hangs off them

The businesses that break through are not spending more than you. They are running three systems between the enquiry and the invoice, and all three can be taught.

01

Demand

Control how much work comes in

An offer worth answering, the local search and profile work that gets you found, and a paid account structure with the budget split already decided — so enquiries become a dial you turn rather than a season you wait for.

  • The offer and the price that make the extra revenue margin
  • Local search, profiles and a campaign structure that holds
02

Conversion

Stop paying twice for the same job

The landing page, the phone and the front counter, built so the enquiry you already paid for turns into a booked job. Scripts are practised until the people who answer the phone can run them without reading.

  • A landing page and booking flow built to convert, not to look busy
  • Phone and quoting scripts your staff can actually run
03

Follow-up and measurement

The money is in the second contact

Reviews and reputation, the call-text-reactivation cadence that recovers quoted work nobody chased, and the weekly tracking sheet that fixes the baseline the 30-day and 90-day checkpoints are measured against.

  • Reactivation and review sequences, written and scheduled
  • The weekly numbers, and the baseline the guarantee is settled on

What you'll learn

Six modules, start to finish

The niche curriculum in build order, identical in all three formats — the format changes the room and the pace, not what is taught. The 60-day founder programme runs to its own week-by-week plan, published on its own page. No filler modules, no theory you cannot use on Monday.

  1. 1

    Positioning and the offer

One offer, one buyer, priced so the extra revenue is margin rather than turnover — and the proof assets that make it believable before anyone calls.

  2. 2

    Local search and your profiles

The profile, category, photo and review work that decides whether you appear when somebody three miles away is choosing between you and two competitors.

  3. 3

The website and the landing page

The page layout, the booking flow and the forms that turn a click into a confirmed appointment instead of a bounce you already paid for.

  4. 4

    Paid campaigns

Account structure, budget split and the creative angles that work in your trade, set up against your own ad account rather than described on a slide.

  5. 5

    Reviews and reputation

The request workflow that makes you the obvious choice in your area, and how to handle the review you did not want in public.

  6. 6

    The phone and the follow-up

Scripts for the call that comes in, and the text, call and reactivation cadence that recovers quoted work nobody chased — where most of the recoverable revenue actually is.

Format and materials

You leave with the tools, not just the notes

The live and in-person formats are taught in real time, so the questions are about your business rather than a hypothetical one. Whichever format you take, everything used in it is yours afterwards and every item below is promised by the product you bought.

  • Editable ad copy and the campaign structure
  • The landing page outline and the booking flow
  • Phone and quoting scripts
  • Review-request and reactivation sequences
  • The weekly tracking sheet and the 30/60/90-day plan
  • The session recording and workbook, plus 30 days of email access

After the workshop

Attendees can apply for deeper implementation support. It is optional and invite-only, and nothing in the workshop is held back to sell it.

The instructor

Meet Assad

Assad is not a coach. He owns and operates automotive businesses, and he runs Top Gun — the agency that delivers this exact marketing work for clients in all five trades at $5,000 a month. The operations side is taught from his own businesses; the offers, campaigns and follow-up are taught from accounts he is accountable for every month. Nothing here is assembled from somebody else's course.

  • Built and runs multiple automotive businesses
  • Runs the client campaigns the curriculum is built on
  • Scaled beyond a single location and kept it running
  • Teaches from the field, not from a classroom

Published pricing

What it costs to be taught it

The programme that builds you a company, and the workshop itself in three formats taught across five industries. Published on the page rather than quoted on a call, because the price is not the part worth hiding.

60 daysPriced per founder

Top Gun 60-Day Agency Launch Mentorship

$7,500 per founder

One-time fee

Start a marketing or software development company from scratch, with a Top Gun operator building it alongside you for 60 days.

  • Company from A to Z — entity and banking setup, positioning, offer design, pricing, contracts and the back office a client will actually pay into.
  • Pick a track — a software development company or a marketing company; the build plan, tooling and first offer are set up for the one you choose.
  • Delivery capability — the playbooks, templates and vendor or contractor bench you need to fulfil the work you sell in the first 60 days.
  • Client acquisition — outbound lists and scripts, paid campaign setup within your own ad budget, follow-up cadence and a CRM you keep.
  • Sales execution — discovery calls, proposals, pricing conversations and objection handling, worked live against your own pipeline.
  • Sixty days of working sessions — weekly build calls, between-call review of your pipeline and numbers, and a day-60 revenue review against the guarantee.

The programme agreement defines the start date, the session schedule, the track being built, the measurement method, the fee's scope, and how a refund is requested, evidenced and paid.

Sold on a published guarantee. The result, the conditions and the refund are set out in full further down this page.

The workshop

Three ways to be taught it

The same curriculum, the same templates and the same guarantee in every format. What changes is whether it is taught live, worked at your own pace, or built with your team in the room.

Scheduled at bookingPriced per seat

Top Gun Live Workshop

$750 per seat

One-time fee

One live session with the marketing playbook for your niche, taught online and worked against your own numbers.

  • Live and online — taught in real time with questions answered on the call, not a recording with a chat box.
  • Your niche's playbook — the acquisition, conversion and follow-up sequence Top Gun runs for auto repair, contracting, commercial contracts, dealership and collision clients.
  • Offer and pricing — how to build the offer that fills the schedule, and what to charge so the extra revenue is actually margin.
  • Lead follow-up — the call, text and reactivation cadence that turns the leads you already generate into booked and completed work.
  • Measurement — the handful of numbers to watch weekly, and the baseline you need on record before the 30-day and 90-day checkpoints.
  • Workbook and recording — the templates used on the call, plus the session recording for your team.

The session date, the niche track, the attendee count covered by the fee, the measurement method and the refund process are confirmed at booking.

Sold on a published guarantee. The result, the conditions and the refund are set out in full further down this page.

Self-pacedPriced per business

Top Gun Online Course

$2,000 per business

One-time fee

The full niche marketing curriculum on demand, so your whole team can run the same playbook without waiting for a session date.

  • Start when you buy — the full curriculum unlocks immediately and is worked at your own pace, module by module.
  • The complete playbook — local search and profile work, website conversion, paid campaigns, content and reputation, and lead-to-revenue follow-up for your niche.
  • Build-alongside modules — each one ends with the asset you were meant to produce: the offer, the landing page, the campaign, the follow-up sequence.
  • Template library — ad copy, landing-page structures, review and reactivation sequences, call scripts and the tracking sheet behind the guarantee's numbers.
  • Team access — assign modules to the staff who will actually run them, so the playbook does not live with one person.
  • Checkpoint reviews — the 30-day and 90-day review structure used to measure the result against your recorded baseline.

Access duration, the number of team logins the fee covers, the niche track, the measurement method and the refund process are confirmed in the purchase terms.

Sold on a published guarantee. The result, the conditions and the refund are set out in full further down this page.

Top Gun In-Person Workshop

$10,000 per business

One-time fee

We come to the table in person and build your marketing operation with you, start to finish, before we leave.

  • In the room with your team — owner, service writers or sales staff and whoever answers the phone, working on your business rather than a case study.
  • Built on the day — the offer, the campaign, the landing page and the follow-up sequence are set up and live against your own accounts before the workshop ends.
  • Your numbers, not examples — current revenue, close rate and lead sources reviewed on the spot, and the baseline recorded for the 30-day and 90-day checkpoints.
  • Phone and front-counter work — scripts practised live until the people who will use them can run them without reading.
  • Niche-specific depth — auto repair, contracting, commercial contracts, dealership or collision, taught with the constraints of that business.
  • Leave with the operation — the dashboards, cadences and templates installed in your own tools, plus the checkpoint review structure behind the guarantee.

The workshop dates, location, the attendees and niche covered, what travel the fee does or does not include, the measurement method and the refund process are confirmed in the signed booking.

Sold on a published guarantee. The result, the conditions and the refund are set out in full further down this page.

The guarantee

Written down, with the terms attached

Every one of the four ways to train with Top Gun is sold on a published promise with a refund behind it. Each one is printed here in full — the result, what it is conditional on, and how the money comes back — because a promise is only worth what its conditions say.

Guarantee
  • Top Gun 60-Day Agency Launch Mentorship$7,500 per founder

Start from scratch with $2,500 in working capital and reach $20,000 in monthly revenue within 60 days, or the full $7,500 fee is refunded — subject to signed eligibility and participant-obligation terms, including full attendance, the $2,500 staying available to your own business, and the agreed build steps being completed on schedule.

The signed agreement defines the programme start date, the day-60 measurement date, how monthly revenue is measured and evidenced, what the fee covers, and how a refund is requested, evidenced and paid. Participant obligations include attending every scheduled session, keeping the $2,500 working capital available to the new business, completing each assigned build step on schedule, holding the company, accounts and tooling in their own name, and following up on leads and clients promptly.

Guarantee
  • Top Gun Live Workshop$750 per seat
  • Top Gun Online Course$2,000 per business
  • Top Gun In-Person Workshop$10,000 per business

Increase your monthly revenue by at least 50% within 30 days and double it within 90 days, or your fee is refunded in full — for businesses in one of the five niches taught, subject to signed eligibility and attendee-obligation terms, including completing the curriculum and implementing the playbook inside those windows.

The signed agreement defines the revenue baseline, the 30-day and 90-day measurement dates, how revenue is measured and evidenced, what the fee covers, and the refund request window and process. Attendee obligations include completing the full curriculum, implementing the taught playbook within the stated windows, funding the agreed advertising budget, reporting results accurately, and following up on the leads generated with the capacity to fulfil the demand.

  • Advertising budget, software subscriptions, and any third-party charges the playbook calls for are the attendee's own and are separate from the training fee.
  • Travel, accommodation and meals for an in-person workshop are not included in the fee unless the agreement says otherwise.
  • Every result above depends on the attendee implementing the work inside the stated windows; training is taught, not done for you, and the done-for-you packages are priced separately.

Pricing may vary based on project scope, ad spend, platform requirements, integrations, travel, production requirements, and custom deliverables. Final pricing is confirmed in the client proposal or service agreement.

FAQ

Before you buy a seat

The questions owners ask most. If yours is not here, email us and you will get a straight answer.

What is the difference between the formats?

There are four ways to train with Top Gun, and what changes between them is the delivery and what one fee covers: Top Gun 60-Day Agency Launch Mentorship — 60 days, one fee per founder; Top Gun Live Workshop — scheduled at booking, one fee per seat; Top Gun Online Course — self-paced, one fee covering your whole team; Top Gun In-Person Workshop — scheduled at booking, one fee covering your whole team; of those, the three niche formats teach the same marketing playbook on the same published guarantee — the format changes the room and the pace, not the curriculum — while the other one builds a company of your own and carries its own promise. Each published fee, and the promise behind it, is on this page with the qualifier that travels with it.

Which industries is the workshop taught in?

The curriculum is taught in five niches — auto repair, contracting, commercial contracts, dealership and collision repair — and the offers, ad angles and phone scripts are the ones Top Gun runs for its own clients in that industry rather than generic examples. The workshop guarantee is written for owner-operated businesses in one of those five. If yours is not one of them you are still welcome in the room, but say so before you book so you are not expecting a promise that is not written for you.

What does the guarantee actually require of me?

Each promise is printed in full in the guarantee section of this page — the result, the conditions it depends on, and how the money comes back — and this answer is a summary of the obligations, not a substitute for reading it there or for the signed agreement. The shape is the same in every case: attend or complete the whole thing, implement the playbook as taught inside the stated windows, fund the advertising budget, software and third-party charges yourself, keep the before-and-after revenue records the measurement depends on, follow up on the leads the work generates with the capacity to fulfil them, and sign the agreement that fixes the baseline, the measurement dates, what the fee covers and how a refund is requested. A result you have not implemented is not a result the guarantee covers.

How does the refund work if the result does not land?

It is a refund of the fee you paid — in full, not a credit, a partial rebate or a deduction for the materials you have already been given — and it is claimed under the signed agreement rather than argued about afterwards. That agreement is what fixes the measurement dates, the evidence the measurement needs, the window the claim has to be made in, and how the money is paid back to the method you paid with. Where a training product is sold with a written guarantee, that guarantee's terms are the ones that apply; the general rules for everything else are on this site's refund policy page.

How do I book a seat, and when am I charged?

Seats are bought online, on this page: pick the format and your industry edition, and the purchase page shows the fee and the refund terms before anything is charged. Nothing is charged until you complete that checkout. If you would rather talk it through first, book a call from this page — booking a call is free and commits you to nothing.

I do not want to wait for a date. Can I start now?

Yes. Top Gun Online Course is taken on demand: the curriculum unlocks when you buy and you work it at your own pace, module by module, with the same guarantee behind it as the live formats. Everything else runs to a date, which is published on this page as soon as it is set.

Is the training a pitch for the done-for-you packages?

No. The training teaches the playbook; the done-for-you packages run it for you and are published with their own pricing and their own guarantee on the marketing page. Nothing is held back from the curriculum to sell the service. What is true, and is said plainly in the caveats on this page, is that training is taught and not done for you — the result depends on you implementing it. If you would rather hand the work over than learn it, book a call and we will tell you which of the two fits.

What is not included in the fee?

Advertising budget, software subscriptions, and any third-party charges the playbook calls for are the attendee's own and are separate from the training fee. Travel, accommodation and meals for an in-person workshop are not included in the fee unless the agreement says otherwise. Every result above depends on the attendee implementing the work inside the stated windows; training is taught, not done for you, and the done-for-you packages are priced separately.

Is the material US specific?

Yes. The pricing, hiring and marketing examples are all drawn from US businesses and US market conditions.

Who teaches it?

Assad, who owns and operates automotive businesses and runs Top Gun, the agency that delivers this same marketing work for clients in all five trades at $5,000 a month. Everything taught is something he has run — his own businesses for the operations side, and client accounts for the campaigns, offers and follow-up the curriculum is built on. It is not material assembled from other people's courses.

The full terms are on the refund policy page.

Would rather we just ran it for you?

The workshop is the in-person side of the same growth programme we run for clients. If you would rather hand the marketing and the hiring to a team that does it every day, book a call instead.
