Use SDT208 with 10–15 mL liquid paraffin or baby oil and a 12V or 24V DC battery. Select an adapter that matches the test port and the correct pressure mode for the system under test. SDT208 has two pressure modes. Use EVAP Mode for EVAP-focused tests below 10 psi, and use Standard Mode up to 35 psi only when the vehicle or component service procedure allows that pressure range.
